Funeral Information

The Funeral services have been set for longtime civil rights leader Dr. Benjamin Hooks. Dr. Benjamin Hooks passed away early Thursday morning at Methodist University Hospital .

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 20th from Noon until 8:30 p.m. at Greater Middle Baptist Church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 21st at Bountiful Blessings Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ, 369 G.E. Patterson, Memphis , Tennessee . The burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery .
