NAACP State Political Forum
The Georgia State Conference will host a Statewide Political Forum on Friday, April 30, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at the Macon City Hall Council Chambers located at 700 Poplar Street in Macon , Georgia . There will be two candidate panels with the Gubernatorial Candidates up first followed by candidates for Secretary of State, Attorney General and Labor Commissioner.

NAACP WIN Brunch/Mother of the Year Program
The Georgia State Conference Women in the NAACP ( WIN ) will host its 1st Annual WIN Brunch/Mother of the Year Program on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Progressive Christian Academy located at 151 Madison Street in Macon , Georgia . The speaker for this event is Reverend Rutha M. Jackson, Chair, State Religious Affairs Committee.
