April 15 deadline

Dear Youth and Adult Members,
If you are unemployed and meet the requirements, and if you are an employer in need of help but can not afford to hire anyone, you may want to contact the Child support Division of DHR.The agency has money which will pay the employer 80% of the salary that they would pay the Adult employee if the business hired and trained this person.
If the business hired and trained (or gave them a meaningful work experience), DHR is willing to pay 100% of the youth's salary. This is an opportunity for both the employer and the job seeker to benefit.
The Youth MUST sign up NO LATER than APRIL 15, 2010 so hurry. Jobs will be filled for June 1 - July 30, 2010.
There is no deadline for employers or Adult job seekers but the money runs out on September 30, 2010.Employers can obtain the MOU packet at www.dhr.state.ga and click on Jobs for Georgians tab or send an email to TANF-Employers@dhr.state.ga.us.
