CUSTOMER SERVICE REP I & II (Multiple Opportunities)



Basic Function:
While working in an extremely fast paced and multi-tasked environment, takes ownership of commercial and residential customer requests for service via telephone, online chat, fax and email. Handles customer questions, complaints, and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues with one call resolution. Offers alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customer’s business. Handles business transactions in connection with activation of new customer accounts on a computer terminal. Communicates with customers using web-based tools and demonstrates the associated proficiency in typing and grammar. Makes financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjusts customer accounts. Will assist in training and coaching new employees. Performs other duties assigned by management.

Requires: High School /G.E.D. with Minimum 6 month of job experience.


DATA VERIFICATION REP II - Multiple Opportunities



Basic Function:
Identifies and resolves gas consumption meter reading problems for the and\or end-use customers of the AGLR Family of Utilities.

Required - High School /G.E.D. with 3-5 years meter reading experience.

CUSTOMER VERIFICATION REPRESENTATIVE II (3 Positions)



Basic Function:
While working in an extremely fast paced and multi-tasked environment, takes ownership of commercial and residential customer requests for service via telephone, online, chat, fax and email. Handles customer questions, complaints, and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues with first call resolution. Offers alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customer’s business. Handles business transactions in connection with activation of new customer accounts on a computer terminal. Communicates with customers using web-based tools and demonstrates the associated proficiency in typing and grammar. Makes financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjusts customer accounts. Verifies the identity of new and existing residential and commercial customers to ensure identity theft does not occur. Responsible for making sure adequate security is maintained on each account to secure the company against loss. Responsible for collecting revenues due to AGL Resources and its entities on final-billed and charged-off accounts.

Required - High School /G.E.D. with 3-5 years meter reading experience.

MARKETERS RESOLUTION REPRESENTATIVE (3 Positions)



Basic Function:
Provides information and assistance to Georgia Marketers via in-bound phone calls and emails. While working in an extremely fast paced and multi-tasked environment, takes ownership of commercial and residential marketer requests for service issues. Handles marketer questions and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues with first call resolution. Offers alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customer’s business.

Requires: High School /G.E.D. with 2-3 years experience in call center including 2 years in Deregulated Gas Market OR Equivalent academic education and experience.


INTRADAY SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE II


Basic Function:
Supports analytical and technical functions of the Customer Care Center. Recommends and implements process improvements. Assist in the dissemination of new processes and process documentation; resolve equipment and system issues. Implements service solutions using Workforce Planning methodologies and best practices.

Requires: High School /G.E.D. with 2 years Intraday Analyst I or equivalent call center experience OR Equivalent academic education and experience.

COMMERCIAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE II (5 Positions)



Basic Function:

While working in an extremely fast paced and multi-tasked environment, takes ownership of commercial customer requests for service via telephone, online, chat, fax and email. Handles customer questions, complaints, and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues with first call resolution. Offers alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customer’s business.. Handles business transactions in connection with activation of new customer accounts on a computer terminal. Communicates with customers using web-based tools and demonstrates the associated proficiency in typing and grammar. Makes financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjusts customer accounts. Will assist in training and coaching new employees.. Performs other duties assigned by management.

Requires: High School Diploma/G.E.D. with 2-3 years of experience in customer service. Availability to work flexible schedule which includes all hours off customer care center operations OR Equivalent academic education and experience
