Now is the time for us to amplify our voices as we tell Congress that a comprehensive healthcare reform bill that includes a public option is important to African Americans and young Americans!

Join us next week, October 27-29, as the NAACP in partnership with the Healthcare Equality Project mobilizes our communities with a series of Congressional call-in days to let our Representatives and Senators know that we will hold them accountable to the issues we care about!

The goal for the “Can You Hear Us Now” initiative is to make 88,000 calls to Congress on October 27-29! To exceed this goal we need every NAACP unit and member actively engaged in calling their Congress member next week! Attached you will find additional information about how your unit can recruit and organize people for the national call-in days.
