(1) Monday August 17th, 7pm, Bethel Baptist Church, 1890 Second Ave. The Development Committee of East End Neighbors will meet to discuss as a community what we like and/or dislike about the rezoning proposal, so that we may speak with better unity at the 20 August Community Council meeting. Please review the attached excerpts from the zoning ordinance which describes what is and isn't allowed in C-1 zoning. >>
(2) Thursday August 20th, 630pm, Wesley Chapel Library, 2861 Wesley Chapel Rd. The attached orange sign on the Goodwill site announces this official meeting of the DeKalb Community Council, where the opinions of local residents are officially heard and recorded. Please be sure to attend this meeting, as it is important to show strong community turnout.>>
(3) Tuesday September 1st, time and location TBA. Meeting of the DeKalb Planning Comission where the staff enters its formal recommendation for consideration by the Board of Commissioners.>>(4) Tuesday September 22nd, time and location TBA.
