Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church

Dear Members,

As we celebrate our 100th Anniversary, we want others to know and celebrate with us. In our newsletter earlier in the year, I asked that you invite "Your" DeKalb NAACP Branch to your church so that we can get to know the community and the community get to know us. I like to lead by example. On Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. The DeKalb NAACP, as a family, will be worshiping with my church, the Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1879 Glenwood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, 404 377-0561. where the Rev. Dr. William E. Flippin is Pastor.

Please meet us at the front of the church at 9:00 a.m. so that we can be seated together. If you arrive late, please let the ushers know that you are with the NAACP and ask if they can seat you with us.

The Grove, as we are affectionately known, is also celebrating our 95th Church Anniversary this month so come and join with us and pray for unity and growth. I hope to hear from others who would proudly invite us to your church to worship.
